Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

MightyZoo.gg (“we”, “us”) is a gaming database and tier-list website. This policy explains what personal data is processed when you visit the site and what rights you have. You can contact us at privacy@mightyzoo.gg.

2. Data we collect

• Server and security logs. Our hosting provider automatically records technical data about each request (IP address, browser type, time, page requested) to deliver the site, keep it secure and diagnose faults.
• No visitor accounts. The public site has no registration, comments or newsletter — we do not ask you for your name, e-mail address or any other personal details.
• Local preferences. Small values stored in your browser (for example, a dismissed advertisement) stay on your device for the browsing session and are not sent to us or used to identify you.

3. Cookies and similar technologies

The public site does not currently set analytics or tracking cookies. If we enable advertising or analytics in the future, a consent banner will ask EEA/UK visitors for permission before any non-essential cookies or identifiers are used, and this section will be updated to list them.

4. Advertising

When advertising is active, we may display ads served by Google AdSense and other advertising partners. These partners may process device identifiers and cookie data to serve and measure ads. In the EEA and UK, personalised advertising is shown only with your consent, collected through a Google-certified consent banner; without consent, only non-personalised ads may be shown. We also show sponsored campaigns that we serve ourselves (for example, a game promotion displayed as a banner or as the page’s background artwork). These are delivered from our own infrastructure with no third-party advertising partner involved, and we measure them only as aggregate view and click counts — nothing that identifies you.

5. Who processes data on our behalf

• Supabase — database and file storage powering the site's content.
• Vercel — web hosting, content delivery and request logs.
• Resend — transactional e-mail delivery (for example, one-time access codes for advertiser reports).
• Google — advertising services (only once ads are enabled).

Some of our providers are established in the United States. Where technical data such as your IP address is processed by them to deliver the site, the transfer outside the EEA is protected by appropriate safeguards — the provider’s certification under the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework and/or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

6. Legal bases

We rely on our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) to operate and secure the website (server logs), and on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) for personalised advertising cookies, which you may withdraw at any time via the consent banner settings.

7. Retention

Server logs are kept for the short period set by our hosting provider and then deleted or anonymised. We do not build profiles of visitors.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify or erase personal data concerning you, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@mightyzoo.gg.

9. Children

The site is a general-audience gaming resource and does not knowingly collect personal data from children.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site evolves (for example, when advertising goes live). The date of the last revision is shown at the top of this page.

Analytics & Cookies

MightyZoo uses privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics to understand how the site is used and to improve it. We do not use tracking cookies for analytics, and we do not build advertising profiles of you.

What we collect

When you view a page, we record a small amount of non-identifying information:

• The page you viewed and the site that referred you (the referring site's name only, never the full address).
• Your approximate country and device type (for example, mobile or desktop).
• An anonymous daily counter used only to estimate the number of unique visitors.
• Which searches and filters on our tier lists are popular, in aggregate (never linked to you).
• Your browser’s language and general browser type (for example, Chrome or Firefox).
• If you arrived through a link that carries campaign tags (UTM parameters), we record those tags so we can tell which of our promotions work.

What we do not do

• We do not store your IP address — it is used momentarily to generate the anonymous daily counter, then discarded.
• We do not use cookies or similar device storage for analytics, so no analytics consent banner is required.
• We do not track you across other websites, and we do not sell your data.

How long we keep it

Detailed analytics records are kept for up to 90 days; only anonymous aggregate totals are retained after that.

Advertising

When advertising is enabled, our advertising partners may use cookies. Where required, you will be asked for consent through a separate cookie notice, and this policy will be updated to name those partners.
